Where is screened-washed sand used?
Screened-washed sand (0-4) is used for preparing concrete and mortar, paving installation and landscaping. Washing cleans it of clay and dust.
How does gravel differ from sand?
Gravel is coarser than sand and contains larger stone particles, which is why it is used for drainage and foundations. Sand is fine and suitable for concrete and paving.
